Dr. William M. Urbas, is a board-certified podiatric surgeon with over 40 years of experience in medical and surgical foot and ankle care. He specializes in diabetic foot care, wound management, routine foot care, and advanced surgical treatments, with a focus on empowering patients by involving them in their care decisions.
A graduate of Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Urbas completed his surgical residency at John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital. He has held numerous leadership roles, including Chairman of the Department of Podiatry at Mercy Catholic Medical Center and Director of Advanced Wound Care at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital. Dr. Urbas served as Program Director for the Crozer Keystone Podiatric Surgical Residency Program for 30 years, mentoring countless future podiatric professionals. He has also contributed to podiatric education as an Adjunct Professor at Temple University and the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Urbas is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and an active member of professional organizations such as the American Podiatric Medical Association. With hospital affiliations at Mercy Catholic Medical Center and Crozer Chester Medical Center, he remains committed to providing exceptional, patient-focused care.
