Dr. Mark Wintersteen has been practicing podiatry since 1997, bringing decades of experience with a strong focus on nonoperative care of the foot and ankle. His clinical expertise includes ankle sprains, soft tissue ligament and tendon injuries, ingrown nails, plantar warts, heel pain management, comprehensive at-risk and diabetic foot care, specialized wound evaluation and treatment, sports-related injuries, and the use of bracing and custom orthotics.

Dr. Wintersteen earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University and went on to complete his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a one-year primary podiatric medical residency within the Wyckoff Heights Hospital System serving Brooklyn and Queens, New York, followed by a one-year surgical residency at Mercy Suburban Hospital.

Throughout his career, Dr. Wintersteen has remained committed to patient-centered care. His philosophy emphasizes making patients a priority, focusing on their overall well-being, and delivering outcome-driven treatment plans. He strongly believes in exhausting conservative treatment options before considering surgical intervention and values a collaborative, team-based approach to care.

Born and raised in the mountains of Idaho, Dr. Wintersteen has practiced podiatry in Pennsylvania since 1994. He is a proud father of four children and enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, relaxing at home, motorcycles, good food, and time with friends.

Went to DR. Wintersteen a while back . my left foot/ heel had spur which gave a lot of pain. went to him a couple of times and did the icing and foot exercises he recommended and I haven't had any issues since my last visit. I would recommend him a good dr. very nice and it was close to home
