Dr. Rhonda Cornell is a board-certified podiatric physician with extensive experience in advanced foot and ankle care, wound management, and diabetic limb salvage. She has been practicing podiatric medicine for nearly 20 years and is recognized for her expertise in treating complex wounds and high-risk patients.

Dr. Cornell earned her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and completed her surgical residency at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC, where she served as Chief Resident. She further specialized through fellowship training in diabetic limb salvage within the Department of Plastic Surgery at Georgetown University Hospital.

She is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Her clinical interests include diabetic foot care, wound healing, limb preservation, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and advanced surgical techniques.

Dr. Cornell is actively involved in medical education and research, and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and textbook chapters focused on wound care and diabetic foot complications. She has also lectured nationally on topics related to limb salvage and wound management.

Her commitment to patient care and clinical excellence has earned her multiple “Top Doctor” recognitions from regional publications over the years. Dr. Cornell takes the time to listen to her patients and understand each patients’ needs to develop a treatment plan.

Dr. Cornell resides in the Philadelphia area and her 2 boys keep her busy. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, hiking, and watching Philadelphia sports teams.
